Location: Grand Prairie, Alberta

Position Type: Full-time

Wage/Salary Range: Approximately $78.00 per hour and above, depending on qualifications and experience

Shift Schedule: Day shift, site-based schedule

Hours Per Day: 10–12 hours per day, based on operational requirements

Job Overview

GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Day Foreman to join our Valued Clients team in the Grand Prairie area. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an experienced operations professional committed to safety, leadership, and operational excellence in a gas processing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to operations personnel
  • Assist with oversight of plant production and maintenance activities
  • Ensure plant processes, inspections, and operational changes are executed safely and efficiently
  • Promote and model a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
  • Review and maintain operational logs, sampling records, and regulatory documentation
  • Support maintenance planning and management of change processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement
  • Monitor expenditures, review invoicing, and assist with cost control
  • Perform additional duties as required to support operations
Qualifications
  • Valid 1st Class Steam Ticket
  • Minimum of 10–15 years of experience working in a gas plant environment
  • Strong working knowledge of gas plant operations and established procedures
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Experience with work order systems and SCADA-related programs
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with natural gas compression, gas sweetening, refrigeration, sulphur recovery, condensate stabilization, steam generation, and water treatment systems
  • Familiarity with Emerson DeltaV automation systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Work Environment

This role is based at an active industrial operating site near Grand Prairie and involves both field and office-based responsibilities. The position requires strict adherence to safety standards, use of personal protective equipment, and the ability to work in an industrial environment.
