A local municipal authority in Wasaga Beach seeks five creative and energetic Summer Day Camp Counsellors for a temporary full-time position. Responsibilities include the creation and delivery of engaging programs for children aged 4 to 10, ensuring safety and effective communication with campers and staff. The Town of Wasaga Beach is seeking five (5) creative, energetic and self-motivated team players to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Oakview Woods Summer Day Camp Counsellors.
Reporting to the Recreation Programmer, Camp Counsellors will work as part of a team who are responsible for the creation, implementation and delivery of programs to campers 4 to 10 years of age. Camp Counsellors will engage with the campers in a variety of recreation programs by maintaining staff to camper ratios ensuring safety. The successful candidate(s) will be required to communicate effectively with campers, parents, the community and Town staff.
Rate of Pay Range: $18.50 - $20.01 per hour
