Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join their team. This is not an operational maintenance role. It’s an opportunity to shape the data foundation that enables everything else—applications, platforms, analytics, automation, AI, and the decisions that drive real business outcomes.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business strategy, architecture, and modern data technologies, transforming complex data environments into scalable, well-structured solutions. You will define and advance the data architecture that supports both the business and the broader enterprise, ensuring data is trusted, governed, reusable, and fit for purpose.

Lead Through Influence

  • Translate business objectives into practical, high-impact data architecture designs.
  • Provide architectural leadership across multiple initiatives and delivery teams.
  • Clearly communicate complex architectural concepts to executive, business, and technical audiences.

Enable the Business Through Data Architecture

  • Embed data architecture, governance, lineage, and quality into solution design and business cases from the outset.
  • Ensure data solutions meet privacy, security, and regulatory requirements while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Advocate for data standards, data dictionaries, and shared definitions that improve trust, reuse, and discoverability.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Define and maintain reference architectures, reusable patterns, and forward-looking roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize legacy systems and reduce technical debt.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in cloud platforms, data engineering, analytics, and AI.

Design the Enterprise Data Foundation

  • Architect enterprise-scale data solutions supporting applications, platforms, and advanced analytics.
  • Design and present data domains that bring structure, clarity, and consistency to complex data relationships.

Skills & Experience

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data management solutions.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling concepts and tools, with the ability to assess model quality and enforce standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Deep understanding of data governance concepts and real-world implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of data quality principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Assets That Set You Apart

  • Experience with Informatica Master Data Management.
  • Exposure to AI and machine learning architectures and platform design.
  • Certifications related to data management, governance, or quality (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA/CDMP).
  • Experience with data observability practices and tooling.
