Overview

Construction Insurance Management Inc. (EllisDon Group of Companies) is a full-service Commercial Insurance Brokers Office licensed across Canada and works very closely with EllisDon’s internal Insurance Department on a daily basis, providing broker service and technical insurance expertise to EllisDon and their clients.

As well as being EllisDon’s Insurance Broker and advisor, we have other clients, some who are sub-trades and past clients of EllisDon.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will :

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for administration and account management
  • Execute Insurance Certificates, Binders, Policy Issuance and Bordereaux Management System
  • Proposals and processing of clients documents and transmittals
  • Policy Reviews
  • Invoicing and Premium Allocations
  • Maintain Abeyance Systems
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to staff
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system (Broker Record System – Agency Manager – TAM)
  • Office Administrative Team Support where required
Is this role right for you?
  • You are newly RIBO Licensed, or have an interest in pursuing licensing
  • You are proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • You demonstrate professionalism in your communication, both written and verbal form
  • You are able to prioritize projects / tasks with attention to detail
  • You have the ability to work well with others and provide assistance cooperatively and courteously in a small office environment
  • You are a strong team player that can take initiative to independently complete assignments
  • You have experience operating standard office equipment
