About Solen Software Group

Solen Software Group is an evergreen holding company that acquires and operates proven software businesses that have significant growth potential in a variety of vertical markets, enabling them to be market leaders in their niche industry. Solen owns several software companies in various market spaces: Human Resource Technology, Fleet Telematics, Asset Management, E-Health, Document Management, and other innovative software solutions in a variety of industries. Solen is backed by a group of advisors and investors that have built software businesses of material scale (10-100M in ARR) and advised many.

About this Opportunity

This is a rare chance to take full commercial ownership of a software business as a hands-on operator with real P&L accountability.

You will serve as the Customer Growth Leader, acting as the driving force behind the company’s growth and realization of its full potential. This is not a passive management role, it’s a seat for a builder who will personally drive Sales and Customer Success, while providing oversight to the Professional Services, and Development teams and together scale the business and make customers successful.

What you will lead from day 1!

  • Directly drive the entire go to market commercial engine, including forecasting, pipeline development, and quota attainment.
  • Define and execute a strategy to convert from a traditional Perpetual license model to a modern subscription model, significantly increasing the organization’s ARR.
  • Own Sales and Customer Success while leading other cross-functional teams such as Support, Engineering, and Professional Services.
  • Build Customer relationships, product usage, and loyalty to improve Net Revenue Retention (NRR), reduce churn, and drive customer expansion initiatives.
  • Represent the company to customers, partners, and prospects as the face of the business.

About you:

  • Hands-On Operator: Comfortable owning outcomes directly rather than through delegation to a team.
  • Commercial Owner: Proven experience carrying revenue responsibility and operating against targets.
  • GTM Expertise: Has built pipelines, closed deals, and driven growth personally, not just overseen it.
  • Product-Curious: Able to quickly learn the product well enough to demonstrate, sell, and problem-solve.
  • High Initiative: Thrives in lean environments where progress depends on personal output.
  • Customer-Credible: Confident engaging directly with customers at all stages of the lifecycle.
  • Operationally Detailed: Willing to live in the details while still thinking strategically.
  • Travel: Legally authorized to work in Canada and able to travel freely to the USA.

Why This Is Special

  • Evergreen Stability: Backed by an evergreen holding company, allowing for a focus on sustainable growth rather than short-term flips.
  • Institutional Mentorship: Direct access to a group of advisors who have built software companies of material scale.
  • Full Accountability: True P&L ownership and the ability to shape the company’s commercial identity.
  • High-Growth Environment: Responsibility for scaling innovative solutions in diverse, niche industries.

If you are a commercial leader ready to treat a software business as your own and drive its next phase of growth, we want to hear from you.

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
