A leading global toy company in Montreal is looking for a Cost Engineer to join their Project Management organization. This role involves providing product cost estimates, maintaining cost evaluation tools, and collaborating with various teams for project support. Strong bilingual communication skills in French and English and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields are required. MEGA - Mattel is currently searching for a Cost Engineer to join the Project Management organization (product development).
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Development, the Cost Engineer will provide timely, competitive and reliable product cost estimate and economic information of products in support of the effective execution of toy design and development, and manufacturing process. They will also participate and deliver cost containment support and work towards a reasonable mix of design value and product costing at all product life cycle stages. They will be responsible for development and implementation of Product Estimation System by application of engineering, manufacturing / product engineering technology and financial knowledge.
