A leading sustainability organization in California is seeking a Corporate Sustainability Coordinator to enhance green building practices. This individual will foster community relationships, track program deliverables, and promote sustainability through various initiatives. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with environmental concepts. Offering a competitive annual salary of $65,000-$75,000 with a comprehensive benefits package, this is a full-time remote or hybrid role.
This position supports the U.S. Green Building Council California (USGBC-CA’s) efforts in expanding our reach to corporations, contractors and incubating new technologies. As our Corporate Sustainability Coordinator, you will help to foster relationships, create pathways, lift new voices and build valuable relationships with partners in our communities. This role will support our California Alliance of Sustainability Executives (CASE), Net Zero Accelerator (NZA) and Contractor’s Commitment programs. This position is slated to begin in February 2025 and will be an integral part of our USGBC-CA team, reporting to our Senior Sustainability Program Manager.
The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, working collaboratively internally and externally to drive momentum and engagement in green building practices. They are eager to network with businesses, collaborate internally, develop the relationships needed to promote our programs, and support our mission for a healthier environment for all.
This is a full-time, remote or hybrid position. Location: anywhere within California, some travel to Los Angeles. Annual salary range is $65,000-$75,000.
