The Operations Centre (OC) is at the heart of CIBC’s operational excellence, supporting our business continuity and security efforts. As the Coordinator, Operations Centre, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the OC runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll support OC facilities, employee onboarding and off‑boarding, access control, and capability management. You’ll work with the team to grow partnerships, enhance OC visibility, and help create reports for senior management. You’ll also support training, maintain process quality, and support the transition of new capabilities.

Coordinate daily operations: Assist with the day‑to‑day activities in the Operations Centre, and promptly elevate any issues.
Help with onboarding and access: Support onboarding and off‑boarding for Operations Centre team members, including helping set up access and applications as directed.
Maintain quality and compliance: Keep records of Operations Centre processes up to date and follow established standards and guidelines.
Assist with capability transitions: Help organize training sessions and update documentation when new responsibilities or tools are introduced.
Build positive relationships: Communicate clearly and work well with colleagues and partners inside and outside the team.
Promote Operations Centre: Participate in tours and presentations to help showcase the Operations Centre and CIBC’s mission.
Prepare reports: Gather information and help prepare reports for management, noting important trends and activities.
Help solve problems: Research and gather information to support the resolution of issues, asking for guidance when needed.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Security, Emergency Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
You bring at least 3 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, crisis management, or a related discipline.
You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
You have strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
You are resourceful, detail‑oriented, and excel at critical thinking and stakeholder engagement.
You have knowledge of CIBC business and security groups. (Preferred)
You hold professional certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional). (Preferred)
