Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
The Supply Chain Management Shared Service (SCMSS) is a new organization that supports healthcare delivery across Manitoba by contracting, procuring and distributing supplies, equipment, and services to service delivery organizations (SDOs) across the health sector.
Additionally, the SCMSS leads the category management Health and Population Cluster for the Government of Manitoba and is responsible for establishing contracts for in-scope items that can be used by stakeholders across the Government of Manitoba and other public sector partners.
The Contract Specialist is a key role in the new SCMSS within Shared Health providing on-going leadership to drive innovation, mitigate supply risk, and improve supplier performance.
