Contract Assessors – Laboratory Accreditation Program

(Several positions available)

Several positions and a pool of candidates

The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) is seeking to technical experts to assessments with the Laboratory Accreditation Program, including onsite technical expertise and remote assessment activities on a contractual basis.

Communication

Key Activities

  • Works closely with the SCC personnel to determine the scope of the inspection.
  • Conducts interviews as part of a team, or independently, to assess the competence of personnel.
  • Reviews records to assess evidence of conformity with relevant criteria.
  • Observes the work of personnel to assess the conformity to procedures and application of relevant criteria.
  • Reports to the Lead Inspector on findings and provides recommendations based on evidence.

Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident/Work VISA for the duration of the contract
