A global mining company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coach for their Jansen project in Canada. This role involves leading a team, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and exceptional coaching and problem-solving skills. The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long‑term roles.
Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages.

The work location for this role is flexible, based out of Saskatoon or the Jansen Mine site. The associated work schedule will be 8x80 (10.5 hour days). This position will require weekly presence at the Jansen Mine Site (minimum 3 days per week).
BHP offers domestic relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning, if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home‑finding trip and a relocation allowance.

The Continous Improvement Coach leads a team of Line Technical Specialists, to support Operational Leadership and Frontline in their application of the BHP Operating System (BOS), inclusive of Standardised Work, to mature organisational excellence and build capability, to ultimately deliver exceptional and sustainable safety and performance outcomes.
