A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

As a Construction Supervisor, you'll oversee day‑to‑day site operations and guide crews to success. You'll review scopes, organize materials, and coordinate schedules to ensure work moves forward with precision and purpose. You'll collaborate closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers, verify progress, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll also provide on‑site leadership and direction, help train staff, and solve challenges as they arise. Each day, your leadership, problem‑solving, and dedication to excellence will keep projects on time, on budget, and built to last.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of construction or restoration experience with proven supervisory success
  • Diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes, drawings, and specifications
  • Skilled communicator with strong leadership and organization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile applications
  • IICRC certifications an asset
  • Valid Drivers license and clean driving abstract
  • Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
