Job description

RK&K is seeking a Construction Scheduler to join our Construction Management team supporting CM, CEI, and Design programs across multiple locations. You will be a key member of our Program Management Office, collaborating with internal staff, client project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to analyze schedules, monitor project performance, and report on key metrics.

Essential Functions

  1. Analyze procurement needs and track critical activities
  2. Support logistics for materials and equipment handling, storage, and staging
  3. Monitor program milestones and interdependencies
  4. Manage project planning and schedule updates
  5. Coordinate with clients to advance contracts
  6. Analyze delays using industry-standard methodologies
  7. Provide early warnings for schedule impacts
  8. Participate in meetings with project teams and stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum two years' experience in construction project or program management
  • Ability to develop and evaluate complex schedules
  • CPM scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of contract procedures
  • Effective communication and strong writing skills
  • Understanding of construction logic and sequencing, especially for highway and transportation projects
  • Willingness to work in the field around operating equipment

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Additional construction or engineering experience
  • Experience with Tilos and Procore
