A community-focused educational institution in Ontario is looking for a Temporary PSW Clinical Assistant to support students in their Personal Support Worker certification program. Responsibilities include orienting students, teaching in clinical settings, and providing feedback. Candidates must be licensed RNs or RPNs, registered with the College of Nurses Ontario, and possess strong communication skills. The role includes various shifts in long-term care facilities with a pay rate of $35.48 per hour.

Serving as a member of the Continuing Education team, PSW Clinical Assistants will have the opportunity to assist students in our Personal Support Worker certification program during their practical training. The program provides students with the academic background, theory and practical training necessary to become a qualified Personal Support Worker.

PROGRAM DATES: October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31 AND November 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28
Various start and end times which may include evenings and weekends
HOURS: 120 hours total
LOCATION: Long-Term Care Facilities (Niagara Region)
RATE OF PAY: $ 35.48 per hour inclusive of vacation and statutory pay
