Job summary

A healthcare provider in Strathcona Regional District is seeking a Community Occupational Therapist to deliver occupational therapy services in a community setting. The role involves working without general supervision, consulting for caregivers, and educating clients and staff on rehabilitation interventions. Candidates must have a relevant degree, current licensure, and at least two years of experience in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to referred clients
  • Consult for caregivers and educate them
  • Educate clients, caregivers, staff, and the community on rehabilitation interventions

Education

Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy
Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
Minimum two (2) years' post‑graduate experience in Occupational Therapy
Community experience preferred
