A community service organization in Halifax seeks a dedicated individual to manage food logistics and assist with local donations. The role involves maintaining clean facilities, leading volunteers, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma, Food Safe Certification, and the ability to work well in a team. This is a physically demanding role with a salary range of $15.70 to $18.59 per hour.

Work in compliance with OH&S Act and Regulations and abide by The Salvation Army’s health and safety policies and procedures. Alternative combination of education and Experience may be considered.
Education, Qualifications and Certifications
Experience and Knowledge: Up to 1 year of experience working in a warehouse and/or Foodbank environment.
Skills and Capabilities:
Tuesday-Friday - 8AM-4PM with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch
Saturday 7AM-12PM
The target hiring range for this position is $15.70 to $18.59 with a maximum of $22.31.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
