Job description
Position Overview

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Experience
  • 5 years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in a health or corporate setting, with demonstrated experience working with senior level management and leading communication initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven skills in writing and editing.
  • Demonstrated ability to support video and photography requirements including storyboarding, script development, content capture, editing and post-production.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • A post-secondary degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field from an accredited post-secondary educational institution; an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration

Must have a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle for regular travel within the province.

  • Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment including the ability to lift and move items of up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be available for occasional off-site meetings and after hour events, which may require travel within the province.
