What you’ll do

As a Commissions Analyst at Brex, you’ll play a key role in supporting our rapidly growing go-to-market organization. You’ll be critical in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of our compensation processes. Beyond processing payouts, this role will partner closely with Sales Finance, RevOps, and our GTM leaders to improve automation, surface insights through dashboarding, and shift the team toward more strategic, proactive analysis. It’s an opportunity to build scalable infrastructure on top of our CaptivateIQ instance and help shape the future of commissions at Brex.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our Vancouver office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of two coordinated days in the office per week, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Responsibilities
  • Own monthly commissions calculations and processing across our GTM org, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness
  • Partner with Sales Finance and RevOps to interpret comp plans and apply them consistently across territories and teams
  • Manage and scale our CaptivateIQ instance, including plan configuration, reporting automation, and user access
  • Build dashboards and tools to improve visibility into attainment, quota coverage, and comp trends
  • Collaborate with GTM stakeholders to field questions, reconcile disputes, and drive resolution
  • Identify and drive opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale the commissions process
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in finance, sales operations, or commissions-related roles
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with commissions platforms (e.g. CaptivateIQ, Xactly, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple deadlines
Bonus points
  • Experience administering CaptivateIQ
  • SQL proficiency or comfort working with large datasets
  • Exposure to sales compensation design or GTM org structures
  • Prior experience supporting a high-growth or scaled sales org
  • Experience with Looker, Salesforce
Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $86,400 - $108,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
