We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker (Client Service Manager) to join our Public Sector team in our Toronto office.

As a Client Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Client Executive in managing clients by establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with a focus on maximizing their loyalty.

Your Day as a Customer Success Manager (CSM)

As a CSM, you’ll manage client relationships and insurance programs from renewal to new business, ensuring smooth service and strong partnerships.

Client Servicing & Support
  • Respond to client inquiries on coverage and contracts.
  • Collaborate with Risk Manager on contract and tender insurance reviews.
  • Support Public Sector Risk Manager with contract reviews and webinars.
Renewal Management
  • Schedule pre-renewal meetings 120 days in advance.
  • Prepare underwriting submissions including schedules, loss history, and risk mitigation tables.
  • Analyze loss history and pricing with PS Manager; negotiate renewal terms with insurers.
  • Handle binding instructions, issue cover notes and policy documents, and assist with invoicing.
  • Track insurer conditions and schedule post-renewal meetings.
New Business & Facility Users Program
  • Manage new business setup, including coordinating underwriting and claims data, preparing submissions, and negotiating terms.
  • Support onboarding and presentations for new clients.
  • Back up Facility Users Program with quotes, renewals, and policy administration.

Your role blends client service, risk management collaboration, and insurer negotiations to deliver seamless insurance solutions.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 7-10 years of experience in insurance brokerage.
  • Well-versed in the Property and Casualty insurance world.
  • University degree (typically in business or finance) or equivalent work experience.
  • RIBO Licensed
  • Good project management and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
