About the Opportunity

TM Engineering is looking for a full-timeCNC Machinistbased inBurnaby, B.C. 3rd/4th year Apprentices are welcome to apply!

Shifts will be alternating on a weekly basis from 8:00AM-4:30PM to 9:30AM-6:00PM.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role is responsible for operating and setting up CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality, precision-manufactured components that meet strict industry standards.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operating and setting up CNC machines
  • Interpreting and deciphering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Inspecting machined parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with tolerances
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Following and upholding all company safety and work policies
  • Performing routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Safely moving parts and materials using overhead cranes
  • Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Supporting production schedules by completing tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Utilizing measuring instruments and hand tools to verify work
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of machining processes
