Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with a strong focus on turning and turn-mill operations, using Fanuc Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components, meeting, or exceeding production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to customer specifications and drawings
• Performing complex machining operations, including turning and turn-mill operations, using Fanuc Control
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC machining processes to ensure quality and production targets are met
• Measuring and inspecting finished products using precision measuring instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition and performing routine maintenance activities as required
• Always adhering to safety regulations and company policies and procedures
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining
• Experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, with a strong focus on turning and turn-mill operations using Fanuc Control
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and equipment, such as micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
