A regional government agency is seeking a Legal Assistant in Metro Vancouver to provide essential administrative support within the Services to Adults Division. The Services to Adults Division at the Public Guardian and Trustee (PGT) is a collaborative and client-focused team dedicated to supporting vulnerable adults who need help with personal, financial, or legal decision-making. The position provides administrative support services to in-house counsel in the Services to Adults Division. The legal assistant reports to the Administrative Team Leader and works closely with other support staff to ensure seamless services to clients. Work is assigned by supervisor and/or in-house counsel to provide legal services for vulnerable adults.
This is a temporary opportunity until December 15, 2026. The position may be extended or become permanent. Flexible work options are available; up to 2 days at home per week subject to telework agreement. Enhanced Security Screening required. Employees must be located in BC at time of employment.
