A health authority is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide consultation services and support medication use initiatives within a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a PharmD or equivalent, and a minimum of two years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience. You will work as part of a team dedicated to improving patient care through expertise and advanced clinical knowledge.

Working within a collaborative, patient-centered, team environment, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist functions as an expert practitioner, consultant, educator and researcher in a defined practice area. Provides consultation services to individuals and groups both within and outside the organization. Applies advanced clinical knowledge to assess, design, implement and evaluate medication use initiatives, research, training programs and the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceLicensed by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. An accredited post-baccalaureate PharmD from a Canadian University or an accredited Year Two Pharmacy Residency PLUS a minimum of two (2) years of clinical pharmacy practice experience including one year experience related to the defined practice area OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
