Client Service & Operations Associate

We are looking for a Client Service & Operations Associate to join PCJ Investment Counsel Ltd. (PCJ). Founded in 1996 PCJ is an independent privately owned investment manager focused on large and small cap Canadian equities and alternative investments including equity market neutral and long / short strategies. With approximately $1 billion in total assets under management the firm has a deep and stable portfolio management team focused on identifying and exploiting unique investment opportunities and constructing portfolios with attractive risk return characteristics.

What You Will Do
  • Client Servicing: Main point of contact for client service including preparation and presentation of materials for existing and prospective clients. Marketing and sales support including managing Request for Proposal (RFP) response database drafting new content and working with internal stakeholders as needed
  • Operations & Trading: Manage operational and trading requirements including trade allocations execution settlement cash management and portfolio rebalancing. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to assist the portfolio management team
  • Compliance: provide support to the Chief Compliance Officer with various regular and ad-hoc compliance projects and regulatory filings; manage operational risk and implement improvements where possible.
