VCA Canada Country Hills Animal Hospital is currently seeking a C asual Client Care Specialist / Technician Assistant to support both our reception and medical teams as needed. This is a great opportunity for an organized, compassionate, and self-motivated individual who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Position

The role of the Client Care Specialist (CCS) is to strengthen the client, animal, veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education. Your role is vital to the success of our hospital! You are the first and last point of contact and have the ability to leave a lasting impression building trust and loyalty with our clients. Your responsibility is to enhance the clients experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team. Your primary goal is to ensure the clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated.

  • Strong customer service and administrative skills
  • Calm, organized, and adaptable with excellent attention to detail
  • A positive, empathetic attitude and a genuine love for animals
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy environment
  • Previous veterinary experience or graduation from a Veterinary Assistant program is an asset
