Overview

JOB TYPE: Full Time (Contract Drivers Accepted)

JOB SUMMARY: The Agency is assisting T-Ruckin Oilfield Services Ltd. in the recruitment of full time Class 1 Drivers. T-Ruckin Oilfield Services Ltd. is a growing provider of oilfield rig moving services throughout Northern Alberta, with locations in Edson, Grande Prairie, and Slave Lake. T-Ruckin offers over 10 years of experience in oilfield rig moving, striving to develop mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of various heavy loads, including equipment and materials, using a bed truck or winch truck at our oilfield sites. This is a vital role in our operations and we are looking for someone who is experienced, skilled, safety-conscious, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a bed truck or winch truck to transport and deliver heavy equipment, materials, and supplies to designated locations; secure loads properly and ensure they are balanced for safe transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure safe operation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery.
  • Attend safety meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed; conduct routine maintenance and inspections of the bed truck to ensure proper functioning.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Current certifications (asset): H2S, First Aid, CSO.
  • Fire retardant coveralls, gloves, hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection.
  • Ability to safely operate a bed truck or winch truck and handle various loads.
  • Knowledge of bed truck and winch truck operations, rigging techniques, and safe load securement practices.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, dispatchers, and clients.
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the bed truck or winch truck.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to oil field operations.
  • Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
