Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Moncton, NB

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm

Wage: $2 0 .00-25.65/hour

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class 1 Driver to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations , eg. Moncton to Darthsmouth and back . This role requires adherence to all transportation laws, company policies, and delivery schedules, with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles for local and/or long-haul deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip, en -route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any defects.
• Secure loads properly in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and delivery details.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients and customers.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., checking oil, tire pressure).
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven 2 years minimum experience as a Class 1 or commercial driver.
• Ability to drive long distances and handle physical aspects of the job.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
