Job Title: Delivery Truck Driver (Class 1)

Location: Delta, BC

Pay: Hourly Rate $30.00 - $35.00

Overview

We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working Class 1 Delivery Truck Driver to join our Delta, BC team. This isn’t just a driving role; it’s a hands-on position that combines skill behind the wheel with physical work on the ground. You’ll deliver goods across the region, operate top-of-the-line equipment, and ensure everything arrives safely and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Operate company-owned trucks to deliver freight to various locations across the territory.
  • Load and unload products safely and efficiently; heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job.
  • Keep accurate delivery records and handle any issues or discrepancies that arise.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and the team about schedules, delays, and delivery information.
  • Follow all road safety rules, company protocols, and regulatory guidelines (including HOS and Dangerous Goods requirements when needed).
  • Keep your truck clean and in good condition; take pride in your vehicle.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 1 license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • At minimum 2 years of recent experience operating heavy trucks (Required)
  • Strong understanding of safety, HOS, and freight handling
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems on the fly, and get the job done
  • Familiarity with the territory of British Columbia routes is a bonus
  • Comfortable using a logbook (paper or electronic)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing solid work every shift
  • Must have a smartphone with a data plan (cell allowance provided)
  • Must pass a criminal record check and road test
Schedule & Pay
  • 4-day work weeks – weekend availability is a bonus
  • Starting at $30/hr (depending on experience) + trip rates for specific runs
  • Routes span across the province of British Columbia
