We're Hiring! Our client, Clarenville Auto Pro, is looking for a hard-working Automotive Journey Person to join our growing team in this full-time permanent position. What You Will Be Doing:

• Complete routine automotive repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics (Ex: oil changes, tires, brakes, suspension, exhaust and general shop maintenance)
• Troubleshoot and test systems/components
• Identify issues that might have caused the initial maintenance problem
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy when diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Adjust, repair, or replace worn parts
• Follow a step-by-step process to ensure that each component of the vehicle is examined
• Use power tools, machine tools and common hand tools properly and safely.
• Review customer work orders and discuss with the team lead
• Inspect engine while in operation, road test vehicle if necessary, and test with advanced diagnostic devices to isolate any and all faults
• Help maintain a healthy and safe working environment for everyone

What You Will Bring:

• Automotive Repair - Level 4 or Journey Person or the equivalent in experience
• A Class 5 NL Drivers license
• Completed relevant post-secondary training
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team, take direction, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting and operating equipment
