Job Opportunity: Civil Designer

Join Aquafor Beech, a company with nearly 30 years of experience in watershed planning, environmental restoration, storm water management, water resources engineering, and municipal infrastructure design. We are seeking a dedicated Civil Designer to contribute to innovative and technically sound project solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Draft and produce engineering design drawings efficiently using MicroStation and InRoads.
  2. Prepare contract documents, including tender documents and schedules of quantities.
  3. Support contractors during construction through supervision and administration.
  4. Apply federal, provincial, and municipal regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with formatting and drawing standards.
  5. Conduct technical analysis and prepare reports.
Qualifications
  • Experience with MicroStation and InRoads software.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Experience in drafting within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Experience in municipal infrastructure planning, design, and construction is an asset.
  • Valid G class driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • EIT or P.Eng eligibility is an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
Additional Details

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, in a flexible work environment.
