A regional charity organization is seeking a full-time Child & Youth Counsellor to provide mental wellness support to children and youth in North Central East Alberta. The ideal candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver counselling services, participate in community outreach, and contribute to initiatives aimed at preventing sexual violence. A degree in Counselling or Social Work and two years of experience are required.

Location: Servicing areas in the DCSC Service Region (Cold Lake, Bonnyville, St. Paul, Smoky Lake, Slave Lake, Athabasca, Wabasca, Lac La Biche)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)
Organization Overview: Dragonfly Counselling & Support Centre (DCSC) is a charity organization committed to creating a region free from sexual violence. We do this by providing specialized intervention, counselling, and preventative education to individuals, families, and communities in North Central East Alberta.
Position Overview: The Child & Youth Counsellor (CYC) works within a multidisciplinary team to provide prevention, assessment, referral, intervention, and supportive counselling services to children, youth, adults, families, and communities impacted by sexual violence. The CYC delivers mental wellness support to children aged 3–21 within the agency’s catchment area and contributes to community capacity-building initiatives. This position involves travel to satellite offices, schools, and community spaces throughout the service region.
