Kids' Campus Child Care Centre is Hiring a Cook / Early Childhood Assistant for our Maamawi iyaawag location.

Position : Cook / Program Support Staff

Job Details

Full-time position (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver morning and afternoon snacks to the classrooms
• Receive lunch from the catering company and maintain hot / cold holding temperatures as well as prepare lunch for any substitutions and allergies.
• Deliver lunch to the classrooms
• Complete weekly checklists including the cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen
• Complete weekly grocery order / pick up weekly grocery order
• Ensure the kitchen meets the requirements of Durham Public Health Department at all times
• Ensure all postings are maintained
• Perform other related duties as required
• Support Program classrooms when required

Qualifications

• Valid Certificate for CPR level C and Standard First Aid
• Up to date immunizations including 2 step TB (Tuberculosis) test.
• Current Food Handlers
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
• Previous experience working in the child care field an asset
