The Office of the Auditor General is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to partner with the Office and drive financial performance and sustainability. As a senior leader in Corporate Services, the CFO provides strategic financial and procurement direction in alignment with the values of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) and the Western Australian public sector. The CFO oversees finance and procurement operations, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement, while ensuring robust financial management, including accounting, budgeting, performance analysis, procurement, and asset management, in full compliance with relevant legislation and public sector standards. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert strategic advice, insightful financial analysis, and forward‑looking forecasts to executive leadership, empowering informed decision‑making and supporting the Office’s long‑term objectives.

  • a copy of your qualification (certificate or university transcript)
  • evidence of your professional accounting membership.
