Why this role is important to us

The Alternative Investment Services (AIS) Centralized Pricing (CP) team is responsible for supporting fund of hedge fund teams globally in the set-up of securities, maintenance of hedge fund liquidity data and entry of pricing data. You will operate as a senior member of the CP team assisting in the completion of accurate pricing, security set up and liquidity information for fund of funds investments while overseeing associate level tasks and contributing to the development of the team.

What you will be responsible for

As Centralized Pricing, Senior Associate you will:

  • Process private equity valuations and resolve private equity valuations related queries
  • Coordinate with offshore teams, assist in performance tracking, participate in monthly/quarterly calls
  • Deliver services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and ensure that assigned work is performed to meet internal standards
  • Resolve routine problems using own initiative and elevate complex issues as needed
  • Conduct self-review for completed activities and review completed activities for A1s
  • Maintain relevant documentation for assigned activities
  • Perform research and resolution on exception items; escalation unresolved issues to management as needed
  • Proactively share new ideas to support process improvement and changes to team processes
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues in all locations
  • Communicate effectively with others and seek clarifications where required
  • Demonstrate progression of process knowledge and understanding of all relevant functional activities in the team
  • Maintain professional integrity when dealing with clients and internal business partners
  • Primary operational day to day contact for clients as required
  • Build and maintain functional and technical knowledge across disciplines to enable handling the majority of client inquiries at the point of contact
  • Support client service delivery for operational and risk activities
  • Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities
  • Perform other duties as required
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, prefer finance, accounting, economics or business management major
  • 2-4 years of related experience in transfer agency, private equity fund of funds or private equity fund accounting.
  • Proficient in email management
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with various internal teams to resolve inquiries and understanding when to elevate
  • Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure, and simultaneously handle multiple assignments
  • Excellent administrative and organizational with the proven ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required to cover international clients.
