Qualifications, Experience & Ability
Skilled Trades Centre Teacher
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • – Bachelor of Education Degree or Vocational Teacher's Certificate, and/or;
    • – A valid Nova Scotia Certificate of Qualification in a recognized trade relevant to the assignment
  • Minimum Experience
    • – 3+ years successful classroom teaching experience in Technology Education
  • Minimum Ability Predominately demonstrated through the interview process, the candidate will be assessed on their ability to effectively deal with situations that are likely to arise. External applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%.
Technology Education Teacher
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • – Bachelor of Education Degree, and;
    • – Completion of a recognized Technology Education teacher certification program
  • Minimum Experience
    • – 3+ years successful classroom teaching experience in Technology Education
  • Minimum Ability Predominately demonstrated through the interview process, the candidate will be assessed on their ability to effectively deal with situations that are likely to arise. External applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%.
