Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking well‑rounded carpenters to work on Commercial Tenant Improvement and Commercial new build projects around the lower mainland. The role involves general labor, using power tools, shoveling, operating a compactor, moving furniture, and hoarding. Responsibilities also include deck work, awnings, adding onto site trailers, ramps, putting up the hoarding, building plan desks, and formwork. Candidates must be comfortable working in various conditions from muddy environments to finishing work.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor tasks including shoveling and using a compactor.
  • Operate power tools such as skill saws, nail guns, compactor, jackhammers, and chipping saws.
  • Move furniture and construct hoarding for site safety.
  • Carry out deck work, awnings, and additions to site trailers.
  • Build ramps, plan desks, and perform formwork.
  • Ensure work is completed from initial stages to finishing.
Essential Skills
  • 3 years of experience as a carpenter or apprentice on commercial, institutional, or high‑rise residential sites.
  • Proficiency in using power tools.
  • Comfortable with labor‑intensive tasks and working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Possession of a car and the ability to commute from Vancouver to Abbotsford.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with telehandler equipment.
  • First aid certification.
  • Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
