Job Description

The cabinet maker adheres to company and customer specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders. He/She makes sure to document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability. He/She is also responsible for sub assembly of aircraft components: forming and trimming aluminum extrusions, fiberglass laminates and other materials for completion of the sub assembly, part or structure; correcting defects as necessary per the established specification or customer limits; potting inserts, applying edge fill; assembling sub components. Assembly of aircraft structures and units includes bonding and attaching the sub-assemblies; attaching of hardware, plumbing and some electrical components; laminate/veneer applications; hardwood applications; safely handling various regulated materials used in the process.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Education: DEP 1650 Hours/18 months (RTC, EMMM etc.). Skills: Strong comprehension of engineering drawings is a definite asset. Languages: Ability to communicate in French and English.
