As the AWM Business Unit Director, you will lead the strategic direction and growth of our Advanced Wound Management business in Canada. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape the future of wound care, build a high-performance team, and ensure our innovative therapies reach those who need them most. Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the country strategy for revenue, expenses, and market share growth.
  • Lead the development of business plans, sales targets, and marketing strategies.
  • Partner with global supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate demand planning.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and competition to drive strategic decisions.
  • Implement promotional and educational programs to support therapy adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and healthcare professionals.
  • Lead all aspects of tender management, pricing strategies, and inventory optimization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and strategic hiring.
  • Collaborate across departments and with third-party sellers to ensure alignment and success.
  • Provide regular performance analysis and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of direct managerial experience in sales and marketing, ideally in the medical technology industry.
  • Proven success in leading high-performance sales and marketing teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with CRM tools and account management strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and value-based selling.
  • Experience managing third-party sellers in both community and acute care settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
  • A proactive, inclusive leadership style with a commitment to integrity and safety.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
