Reporting to the Practice Leader of BSA, you’ll partner with a team of Business Systems Analysts who play a critical role in delivering enhancements and launching products across the Interac ecosystem. You’ll be part of the delivery of high-quality system requirements that support strategic business goals, cross-functional alignment, and a culture of continuous improvement.

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and external vendors to gather requirements, align project objectives and drive successful delivery

  • Promoting knowledge sharing across teams and contributing to the evolution of business systems analysis practice with empathy and kindness
  • Implementing and improving frameworks for traceability, impact analysis, and quality assurance of business systems requirements
  • Adopting, implementing and operationalising best practices with the goal of great customer experience
  • Ensuring consistent delivery, quality standards, facilitation, and stakeholder management standards
  • Supporting team members in navigating complex projects and encouraging innovative thinking in solutions design
  • Ensuring consistent use of tools, templates, and documentation standards across all products and projects
What You Bring:
  • Curious nature and logical approach to bridge business and technology, process or procedural challenges in a team environment
  • Experience in financial services, fintech or e-commerce environments, or other regulated industries is a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of business systems analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Top tier communications, documentation, grace and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection systems, cybersecurity domains

  • Strong understanding of Open APIs as publicly accessible, RESTful interfaces that support secure, scalable integration across distributed systems

  • Experience with UML, BPMN or other Visual Modeling notations
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR, SOX
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools, e.g., SQL, Power BI
  • Comfortable with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence); user management, site creation, project creation, workflow
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a BSA, with at least 2 years in fraud prevention or cybersecurity domains
  • Project Management foundational knowledge is an asset
  • Agile and Scrum methodology experience
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity
What Makes This Role Unique:
  • We’re a high-performing, collaborative team that thrives on curiosity, adaptability, and a good sense of humour. This means….
  • You can laugh with the team and still help steer the ship when things get unpredictable
  • You are interested in continuously learning, mentoring others, and leading through change
  • You do not expect the work to be linear, routine, or free of ambiguity
  • We’re looking for someone who’s not just technically sharp, but also emotionally intelligent, resilient, and ready to do their part in shaping the future of our practice.
Why Join Our Interac BSA Team:
  • You want to be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • You thrive in environments where no two days are the same; and you see ambiguity as an opportunity, not a blocker
  • You’re excited to lead initiatives, mentor others, and help shape how we deliver value through business systems analysis
  • You appreciate a culture where we take our work seriously; but not ourselves
  • We’re building something meaningful, and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us, challenge the status quo, and have a little fun along the way.
  • Once again, if you're an experienced Business Systems Analyst and ready to make a lasting impact among a community of creative thinkers, technical experts, and collaborative builders—we want to talk to you!
