Business & Quality Analyst (BQA) - Blockchain

The role:

We are building the next generation of real-time, programmable payment rails and are looking for an experienced Business Quality Analyst to join our team. The Business & Quality Analyst (BQA) is responsible for ensuring that business requirements, regulatory expectations, and system functionality are accurately translated into high-quality, production-ready technology solutions. This role supports new initiatives on blockchain and distributed ledger technologies by validating that solutions meet functional, regulatory, and operational standards within a regulated financial services environment.

The BQA works closely with business, technology, risk, and operations stakeholders to ensure digital currency capabilities are delivered in alignment with enterprise governance, control frameworks, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements for digital currency initiatives.
• Translate regulatory, risk, and control requirements into clear, testable system specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and execute end-to-end testing strategies, including functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate transaction flows, data integrity, reconciliations, and exception handling across integrated systems.
• Partner with technology teams to identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support remediation activities.
• Support release readiness and change management activities, including test sign-off and deployment validation.
• Perform post-implementation validation to confirm solutions operate as intended in production.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise SDLC, QA, testing, and governance standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and testing evidence to support audit, risk, and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications

What do you need to succeed?

Mandatory

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or Business & Quality Analyst within financial services.
• Strong understanding of:
• Payments processing and transaction lifecycles
• Core banking systems and downstream integrations
• Data flows, reconciliations, and operational controls
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including technology, risk, compliance, and operations.
• Ability to work within ambiguous requirements and self organize to solve problems
• Experience operating within structured SDLC and change management frameworks in regulated environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting emerging technology, transformation, or innovation initiatives.
• Familiarity with regulatory testing expectations, audit support, and issue remediation processes.
• Exposure to digital assets, blockchain technologies, or tokenized payment concepts.
• Experience supporting initiatives subject to enhanced governance or regulatory oversight
