Job description

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to grow their existing Central US and Canada business through expert discovery and exploration of new business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, be curious, and use initiative to drive revenue growth and increase market share. You are a smart, humble, hardworking, and collaborative person who thrives in a dynamic sales environment.

Reporting and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the BDM serves as the primary contact for new and existing customers and channel partners for sales of all healthcare industry-related product and service offerings in their territory. You will be responsible for building and maintaining your region. The role requires an experienced business development professional with a business and technology background, capable of planning and implementing a sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet assigned sales targets and strategic objectives in the territory.
  2. Prepare and deliver presentations and product demos online and in person.
  3. Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs continuously.
  4. Prepare customer proposals and respond to RFPs.
  5. Align the company's value proposition with customer requirements.
  6. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline for forecasting revenue.
  7. Coordinate internal resources to meet customer and partner objectives.
  8. Respond to inquiries regarding product orders and pricing.
  9. Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and industry events.
Requirements
  1. College or university degree from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum of five years of strategic technical sales experience in a B2B healthcare environment.
  3. Self-starter, curious, and problem solver.
  4. Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  5. Proficient with CRM software and MS Office suite.
  6. Experience with wireless technologies, IoT, and IT systems is a plus.
  7. Ability to travel within North America up to 25%.
  8. Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
