This role is centered on identifying, developing, and securing medium to large-scale industrial projects while building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in complex industrial environments, positioning the Company early in project lifecycles, and selling high-value, technical solutions rather than commodity services.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for heavy lift and engineered transport projects
  • Proactively engage EPCs, plant owners, contractors, and industrial clients to generate qualified project leads
  • Position the Company early in project planning to influence lift strategies, scope, and execution approach
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on medium to large-scale industrial projects
  • Support bid and proposal development in collaboration with engineering, project management, and operations teams
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client project requirements, constraints, and timelines
  • Represent the Company at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to operations once projects are awarded
  • Monitor local and regional market activity across refining, petrochemical, energy, infrastructure, and heavy industrial sectors
  • Track upcoming shutdowns, turnarounds, capital projects, and maintenance programs
  • Provide market intelligence to leadership on competitive activity, client trends, and emerging opportunities
  • Align client expectations with the Company’s technical capabilities, safety standards, and operational capacity
  • Support continuous improvement of sales processes and CRM discipline
What You Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project development within industrial services, heavy equipment, or construction-related sectors
  • Proven experience selling technical, project-based solutions (e.g., heavy lift, crane services, engineered transport, industrial construction)
  • Strong understanding of industrial markets in Southwestern Ontario, including refining, petrochemical, energy, and infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build long-term client relationships
  • Comfort working with engineering, project, and site-level stakeholders
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required
Why Join the Team
  • Represent a globally recognized leader in heavy lifting and engineered transport
  • Work alongside world-class engineering and operations teams
  • Be involved in high-profile, technically complex industrial projects
  • Enjoy long-term career growth opportunities within a global organization
  • Competitive compensation with strong performance incentives
Who Will Excel in This Role
  • A true “hunter” with a relationship-driven approach to business development
  • Someone who thrives in complex, technical sales environments
  • A strategic thinker who understands both commercial and operational realities
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented
  • A professional who holds themselves to a high standard of safety, integrity, and accountability
  • An individual who can translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling value for clients
Salary & Perks
  • Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 base + bonus
  • Vehicle allowance
  • Fuel card and Concur expense program
  • 100% company-paid health & wellness benefits
  • RRSP matching program
  • 3 weeks of vacation
