Position Overview

Echo NDE is actively recruiting a Business Development Manager to support our growth. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional to expand our presence within the Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) and Tank Inspection markets while working alongside a skilled operational and technical team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to grow revenues within the NDT and Tank Inspection sectors.
  • Manage and execute sales and growth objectives, ensuring alignment with regional sales and business‑development strategies.
  • Provide leadership and administration of all sales and business‑development activities, upholding our core values of ethics, integrity, safety, quality, and corporate responsibility.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring terms comply with minimum requirements and risk‑management guidelines.
  • Drive growth initiatives, including service‑line expansion and new client development.
  • Develop and execute client opportunities, maintain an active pipeline, and prepare winning bids.
  • Manage major accounts using a CRM model, addressing client concerns and fostering long‑term relationships.
Requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience in business development within the NDT and Tank Inspection industry.
  • Prior experience with large industrial clients and technical marketing within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Successful track record in technical, solutions‑oriented sales to engineering and operating managers in large industrial companies.
  • Experience with sales methodologies across enterprise to SME sectors.
  • Proficiency managing CRM or related sales systems.
  • Hands‑on leadership orientation with a performance‑driven, collaborative approach.
  • Strong presentation, influencing, and cross‑level communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Preferred: technical undergraduate degree.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, technical, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
