We currently have an indefinite contract role as a Business Analyst - SAP with our global consulting client, working for a client in the downtown Toronto core.This is a 6 month contract initially, but could be extended.

Duration: 6 months to start + potential extension

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid - 2-3 days/week onsite

Rate: $80 -$100 CDN/hr C2C depending on overall experience

Job Description We are looking for a Sr. BA to support some work our client is doing for aSAP upgrade. The role requires this consultant tobe on site 2-3 days a week in downtown Toronto.

Below are the keyresponsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements for Finance and Operations reporting, ensuring clarity on KPIs, metrics, and key data elements.
  • Build requirement documents and transformation logic to guide development teams, with a focus on data accuracy and lineage.
  • Create mock-ups and sample reports to validate reporting needs with stakeholders before implementation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing and maintain KPI definitions/documentation for long-term governance and consistency.
  • Understanding of data patterns (KPI, metrics, etc.) and able to do data analysis using SQL, identify the joins, logics, etc. for development team to work upon. Create data mapping documents source to target (source table. Column)
  • Understanding of BI tool such as Power BI and able to define KPIs, understand what is expected by the developer and accordingly provide them the data source they need in the requirement/mapping document.
  • Validate the report by jumping into various data sources, run SQL, understand whats mentioned in the DAX expression and verify the logic.
