Job Overview

This is a permanent, full‑time position reporting to the controller. The Business Analyst will ensure accurate financial reporting and support key business decisions by providing manufacturing cost, operating and financial analysis.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Lead month‑end processes and related accounting assignments.
  • Participate in the development of annual operating plans and strategic plans for the mill.
  • Prepare and report monthly latest‑view forecasts for production setting and furnish balance, coordinating submissions to Corporate Finance (Richmond & Fort Mill).
  • Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis for mill operations and product costing.
  • Coordinate annual budget planning.
  • Support new product development assessments, costing, and profitability analyses with the Mill Production and Corporate Sales teams.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, identifying, recording, and tracking all improvement projects.
  • Produce the annual operating plan for assigned manufacturing cost elements such as production setting, furnish balance, and grade costing.
  • Provide support and training to new hires and less experienced finance staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of similar experience in a manufacturing or cost‑accounting environment.
  • CPA designation is an asset.

Salary: $79,000 – $96,000 per annum (actual offer commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
