Make your mark while you grow your career! We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technology Business Analyst/Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands‑on experience in Oracle SQL, Power BI and low-code and no-code platforms as well as familiarity working with Azure Databricks. You will have a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, data projects, and Agile methodologies. You will also be tasked with programming using SQL, developing visualizations and documentation, conducting data quality testing, and actively engaging with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Job location: Calgary
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts (Monday – Friday)

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop Power BI solutions, including data modeling, design, development, and testing of visualizations and reports
  • Develop comprehensive process mapping and data flow diagrams to enhance project clarity
  • Conduct detailed reviews of existing Oracle views, stored procedures, and packages to identify optimal data sources for documentation of data requirements
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate solution delivery and enable business users
  • Familiarity working with Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and integration
  • Perform data quality testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of data sets
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement to ensure efficient data processing and accurate reporting
What You Bring to the Role
  • 3 plus years of relevant experience as a Technology Business Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst
  • University degree or technical diploma in a related discipline
  • Demonstrated expertise in Oracle SQL and Python programming, and familiarity with Azure Databricks and working with low-code platforms
  • Ability to query and transform data for reporting and visualization and an understanding of data modeling and relationships
  • Proficiency in effectively managing and analyzing large datasets sourced from diverse data repositories within enterprise environment
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills
  • The capability to work independently, effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, and meet deadlines
