Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. Our Bus Fleet Maintenance & Engineering office is seeking a Bus Control Officer to provide oversight and coordination of the daily operation of non-revenue buses at various Bus Services Facilities. Ensure buses are delivered in a clean safe efficient economical courteous and timely manner and available for service.

This role follows a continental shift schedule which typically involves working 12-hour shifts for a set number of consecutive days followed by an extended period of rest days. This schedule supports 24/7 operational coverage while offering employees predictable time off and work‑life balance.
Shift duration: 10 or 12 hours a day (40 hours/week)
Location: Oshawa Garage
Week 1 Works – Mon / Tues
Off – Wed / Thurs
Works – Fri / Sat / Sun
Week 2 Off – Mon / Tue
Works – Wed / Thurs
Off – Fri / Sat / Sun
