Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Business Impact

  • Works to achieve operational targets within job area with direct impact on sector results
  • Works independently on larger moderately complex projects / assignments
  • Sets objectives for own job area to meet the objectives or goals of projects and assignments
  • Ensures timesheets logs and files are accurate and up to date
  • Requires ability to solve difficult problems and often contributes new ideas and solutions

Knowledge

  • Responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems
  • Identifies and engages in learning opportunities
  • Strives to achieve professional qualifications
  • Demonstrates technical skills in design capability for a particular trade or discipline

Communication

  • Communicates with contacts typically within the Sector Area on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement.
  • May assist in the preparation of proposals for standard or smaller projects agreement.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with clients on assigned projects
  • May begin to liaise with clients from guidance from more senior level professionals

Expertise

  • Requires broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through formal college or university education
  • Works under the supervision of a more senior professional
  • Prepares drawings designs and calculations for projects and assignment of low complexity
  • Executes work with coaching and support from colleagues
  • Developing skills in a particular discipline
  • R equires a University Degree or a Diploma or equivalent experience and at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
