We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Brand Director / General Manager to lead the next phase of growth for two Canadian lifestyle brands. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape brand vision, drive product execution, expand distribution channels, lead digital initiatives, and take full P&L ownership within a vertically integrated, founder-led organization

Position: Brand Director / General Manager
Location:Markham, Ontario (On-site, GTA)
Compensation:$100,000 – $120,000/year + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

Brand & Product Strategy

  • Lead planning and execution of seasonal collections
  • Oversee product direction in terms of silhouette, fabric, and color
  • Develop brand positioning, assortment, and pricing strategies
  • Ensure all design decisions are aligned with commercial goals
  • Build and manage wholesale partnerships with department stores, independent retailers, and online platforms
  • Drive e-commerce growth (Shopify platform) and direct-to-consumer initiatives
  • Explore and implement retail innovations (e.g., pop-ups, shop-in-shops, experiential retail)

Team & Execution

  • Lead a lean, cross-functional team (product, sales, e-commerce)
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership and operations
  • Monitor performance against budget and key brand KPIs

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands
  • Strong track record in both wholesale and e-commerce environments
