About The Role

The Branch Manager has to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and supervise all areas of operation. He/She will have to manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. He/She will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.

Roles And Responsibilities

Operational responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for Air & Sea Import / Air& Sea Export/ Air & Sea Freight Forwarding / Transporter / other service providers.
  • Plan logistics operations for clients including coordination of transportation and communication with vendors/Oversea Agents / Shipping Lines / Airlines / AITA Agents / Freight Forwarders / Co loaders / NVOCC/CFS/Custodians.
  • Handling all primary communications and escalations with agents and customers.
  • Taking all intra branch escalations and mitigating the same.
  • 100% bill preparations and documents submitted to clients.
  • Manage Finance and Accounts function for branch office
  • Evaluate and improve team processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and increase value to the customer.
  • Manage HR/Admin activities at the Branch level

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Corporate client management and development.
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
  • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.
  • Meet goals and metrics.
  • Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
  • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Post Graduate preferred with relevant knowledge on Customs clearance (Import & Export) activities and Business Development
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as Branch Manager or in a similar role.
  • G pass Customs pass holder will be given preference
  • Ability to meet sales targets and Operations goals
  • Import and export customs clearance knowledge
  • Strong communication and writing skills, excellent organizational skills, Go-Getter attitude, Result Oriented
  • Proficiency in MS Office preferred
  • Ability to streamline operations and make improvements for our clients
